Chronic cough with neck swelling

38 year old man went to see his doctor with a complain of chronic cough. The doctor noted a large swelling over his right side of the neck of which the patient claimed to be there for months and is painless. Further investigation did not reveal any signs of hyperthyroidism.
Ultrasound showed a solitary thyroid nodule in his right gland. A diagnosis of thyroid adenoma was made.
