Solitary non-functioning thyroid adenoma

35 years old Malay female patient, complaint of painless right neck swelling for 20 years. She has no signs of thyrotoxicosis and her thyroid function test is normal.
Ultrasound of the right thyroid showed a well defined oval shaped nodule with heterogeneous appearance and peripheral calcification noted at the mid to lower pole measuring 4.10(l)cmx2.69(h)cmx3.86(w)cm.
The rest of the right thyroid and left thyroid glands are normal.
