Gown string?

Look at the chest radiograph below. There is a thick curvi-linear line down the middle of the right lung field. What do you think it is?
Could it be a pneumothorax, anomalous vessel or just a gown string (not properly tied)?

Its none of these. Look at the image below. Now you can see the line extending above the shoulder. There is also another similar line parallel to it.
Now what do you think?

This is an artifact due to poor agitation of the chemicals. It is very important for radiographers and x-ray operators to follow the instruction when mixing the chemicals and to mix them well.
