Cervical spondylosis

This 47 year old man presented with a long history of numbness of his right hand. Cervical spine x-rays were done.
It showed presence of posterior osteophytes or spurs at C5 and reduced C5/6 joint space as well as uncinate joint spaces at C5/6 bilaterally.
These changes are consistent with cervical spondylosis.
His symptoms would be due to C6 nerve roots compression..
