Surprises at routine medical check up!
Interestingly, there are 2 pathologies:
1. Coarse linear shadows are seen in the left apex. This is consistent with left apical fibrosis.
2. There is a 9mm opacity in the left flank! This is a renal stone. See image below for clearer visualisation.
The learning point here is - No Tunnel Vision. Look around the radiograph so that you will not miss any pathology.
